Ah, I see the problem here.

My first comment is a bit misleading:
the problem is not that "err:wgl:ha..." (which the proposed patch did most
certainly not fix either) but more than when I try and play a Steam game, I get
the output attached in comment #1 as an error.

That is the bug.
