I know that some games will use 100% of your CPU, but it is not the case of Eve. Here is a screenshot of a friend's Windows process viewer running 2 Eve clients : http://renchap.com/eve_windows_cpu.jpg
He is using a Quad core, and the 2 Eve clients uses 10 and 16% of one core. When i played Eve on Windows some years ago, using a single-core CPU, i ran 2 Eve clients on 1 core, and the CPU was not at 100%.
This may not be a vsync problem but another one, the fact is that running Eve under wine uses 100% CPU of one core, and running the same client on Windows does not uses one full core.
