Please open C:\windows\Installer\{91120000-002F-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE}\wordicon.exe in some application that extracts resources from exe files (eg. http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/), and look at the second icon in the icon group resource section.
Is that: * the icon that Windows uses for .doc files? * the icon your Linux file manager uses for .doc files?
