If you upgrade your desktop to Wine 1.1.1, do you get the same problem?
I didn't test a complete game, but Yoot Tower appears to run correctly on my desktop under Wine 1.1.1
I completely erased and re-installed wine 1.1.1 on my laptop and I still have the same problem.
