Found that copying native mshtml and shdocvw from IE6 (a separate ie4linux
install) and configure dll override improves the situation a lot, the
application runs now with partial functionalities.

FWIW, tried adding urlmon and it doesn't help; adding shlwapi, or IE7's or
Vista's 
mshtml shdocvw all resulted in more unsatisfied dependencies in msvcrt and
other dlls . So it is only those two DLLs, and that specific versions as well.
