--- Comment #3 from NSLW lukasz.wojnilowicz@gmail.com 2010-11-17 06:48:24 CST --- As I mentioned earlier the problem is also present in demo so I'll write how to test it.
Wine: 1) remove ~/.wine 2) install nfs5onlinedemo.zip 3) change "Windows Version" to "Windows 98" 4) wine PorscheDemo.exe driver=dx7z
Files created in SavedData are: nfs5.trk XXDefXX.sav pic16.tm1 (0 bytes long)
Windows XP SP3: 1) install nfs5onlinedemo.zip 2) set compatibility mode for PorscheDemo.exe to "Windows 98" 3) start PorscheDemo.exe
Files created in SavedData are: nfs5.trk XXDefXX.sav pic16o.fsh (6960 bytes long)
After unpacking pic16o.fsh by FSHTOOL I get two files: 0000.BMP (54x64 image of driver's head) index.fsh which content is following
"FSHTool generated file -- be very careful when editing
pic16.fsh
FSH
SHPI 1 objects, tag GIMX
BUFSZ 13920
NOGLOBPAL
!PAD 8 4275792045525453
driv 0000.BMP
BMP 78 +0 54 64 {0 0 0 0}
#END"
Link to the application that can open .fsh files http://www.nfsunlimited.net/files/download/43
File pic16.fsh is essential for starting race in full version of NFS Porsche.
