After some research tho, it seems some Windows 10 users found a way to "break" wpad by adding 255.255.255.255 wpad in their hosts file. Adding it to my hosts file makes all the menus instantly load.
But I'm not much of a networking guy. I don't know the ramifications of adding the broadcast address to your hosts file. I was hoping to share my findings and maybe gain some clarity on this.
