diff between working and non-working help menu

This is a diff between 2 portions of the log:
- first portion (prefixed with "-" in  the diff) is on the first click on the
help menu, and it displays properly.
- second portion (prefixed with "+" in the diff) is on the second click on the
help menu, and that's where the bug is: the menu is just an empty grey box.
