Hello,
that VB.NET app is only slightly obfuscated so the code is easy to read ;-) You need to make sure that your CDROM is mapped to a drive letter and the drive type is set to "CDROM" (winecfg).
I couldn't test if dumping game discs really works because I don't own any suitable media (Wii, GameCube discs).
Besides this (non) issue, you could help to improve appdb. Take responsibility for the apps you use/test so others can benefit from it.
http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=11858
E.g. rename appdb entry "RawDump 2.0" to "RawDump" because app versions live under this entry in sub-entries. Add main website URL, download URL for each version in sub-entries Add HOWTO for install, e.g. I don't know if you used mono or winetricks dotnet20 Add HOWTO for running, e.g. info that CDROM must be mapped and type set Add NOTES for workarounds (e.g. winetricks gdiplus) if bugs are still pending. Add references to other bugs (e.g. gdiplus one). Add Screenshot from app ...
It isn't that hard, only takes few minutes.
Regards
Screen shots are a great idea. The rest of the application information is forthcoming.
But I will say that in winecfg the drives are set to CDROM and mapped to a drive letter(guess I'll screen shot that too). The way it works in windows is that the app opens up and shows all cdrom drives connected to that computer in a drop down box.
If it was that simple, there wouldn't been a bug made. I'm not a programmer, so don't expect me to see VB code and figure out what's really going on.
And it's an issue, regardless of what you think.
