When I first installed it it worked fine... except for complaining about missing alsa sequencer. so I rebuilt my kernel with that support (that and a few other alsa changes are the only ones I made.) now I am unable to get it to resize the screen to go full screen. but it works fine with Virtual Desktop Emulation.

It's possible some library that had been rebuilt got loaded on reboot.
