so I tried installing it.

First, you have to set your language to German, e.g.
  LANG=DE_de.UTF-8
or it commplains about a language mismatch.

Then, you have to set your Windows version to NT 4 with winecfg, else
it complains that it needs Windows NT 4 or higher.

Then it installs.  The font in the installer is almost too tiny
to read, even with corefonts installed.
It first silently installs the Access 2002 runtime
libraries and Jet 40, and those subinstallers aren't particularly
happy; they both end with
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"InstallFinalize" returned
1627
but the main installer continues blindly.

It asks if you want to keep the existing version of some wine dll; I said yes.

It installs a menu item showing that the way to run the app is

wine "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Access
Runtime\Office10\MSAccess.exe" /Runtime "C:\Program
Files\AllInOne-Office\AllInOne-Office.mde"

but that fails with file not found... maybe because of the
access runtime installation problem?

Fails for me in 1.2-rc7, even with LANG set and winversion = nt4. It pops up an
error about visual basic 6, so I tried winetricks vb6run, but no luck. Can
someone who speaks German try this?

Office System Pack kann auf diesem System nicht installiert werden, da die

If that's not a typo I'd suggest to try with LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 (which is
the correct locale name).

Looks like an issue with the quotes. If i run the program with the comandline:

wine "C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\Microsoft Shared\Access
Runtime\Office10\MSAccess.exe" /Runtime
C:\Programme\AllInOne-Office\AllInOne-Office.mde

i get much further. The current error message is now:

Diese Datei befindet sich außerhalb Ihres Intranets oder auf einer Website, die
nicht zu den vertrauenswürdigen Websites zählt.  wird diese Datei wegen
möglicher Sicherheitsprobleme nicht öffnen

This means

The file is outside of the intranet or on a not trusted web site. Therefore the
file will not be opened because of possible security issues

Just for the record. The installer does not work in NT4 SP6. I tried it in my
VM. This is also stated on the download page. The note there says "Users of
Win98/ME/NT4 should use the older version 4.33"

Fails before installing here, the only word in the dialog I recognize in
'Overflow'.

This was with git and 1.4 (using winversion NT4) and with LANG=de_DE.UTF-8.

The same issue occurred with winversion XP and an en_US LANG.

various unrelated issues collected here ...

Anyway, the app installs fine with recent Wine and 'winetricks -q jet40'
prerequisite - even in prefixes with non-german locale.

There is a dialog on startup, complaining about "Microsoft Access hat ein
Problem festgestellt und muss beendet werden." (MS Access encountered a problem
and will be terminated). After that it will restart over and over again, trying
to fix the problem (the standard office 'recovery' loop).

The problem seems to be related to 'ICreateTypeLib2_fnDeleteTypeInfo' and
'ICreateTypeInfo2_fnDeleteImplType' stubs.
It goes further with these implemented (just pretending and returning 'S_OK' is
not enough).

Translated: "not enough stack space" which makes sense. There is indeed a
recursion, leading to exhaustion of stack. But that's a different problem.

Resolving 'fixed' here.
