--- Comment #1 from Andrew Nguyen arethusa26@gmail.com 2010-12-30 22:45:59 CST --- Please elaborate on the problem description, namely the exact symptoms of the failure, and attach debug output as per http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log to the bug report. Issuing "wine --version" or querying your package manager should tell you what Wine version you are using. Is there an available download for the application?

--- Comment #3 from jacksmoo111@gmail.com 2010-12-31 11:56:46 CST --- The app is paid ($9 digital download) I am using the CD version When i try to setup this computer as a host it fails and when I try to connect to a lan game it fails too. I suspect it's Wines WinSock stack. I also have this proplem with Darwine on my MacBook. It used to work on my MacBook untill recently. And to see if it affects my linux box I installed it last night

--- Comment #4 from Andrew Nguyen arethusa26@gmail.com 2010-12-31 13:03:51 CST --- Judging from log output:
fixme:dpnet:IDirectPlay8PeerImpl_Initialize (0x142910)->((nil),0x4066d2,0): stub fixme:dpnet:IDirectPlay8PeerImpl_Close (0x142910)->(0): stub
The multiplayer functionality likely relies on DirectPlay, which is barely implemented in Wine. The native DirectPlay DLLs may be a suitable workaround.
