Lightworks.exe crash log and ntcardvt.exe crash log

Lightworks video editng program dows not start up.
this app can be started via Lightworks.exe and ntcardvt.exe
 both crash with the same Unhandled page fault.
I did not test on real hardware and with amd64 only.

Sure looks like a quartz bug.  Please attach a +quartz log.  Does winetricks
quartz work around it?

thanks for respond.
yes, after winetricks quartz, just fixmes are left.

now it seems to hang at:

fixme:win:RegisterDeviceNotificationA (hwnd=0x10066,
filter=0x1f3e754,flags=0x00000000) returns a fake device notification handle! 
 Lightwoks.exe stops at  "initializing device driver manager"  part of
initialize, with a popup that it needs to close, and a Exception has been
thrown.

could you tell me how to do a quartz log? I would provide it, but have not done
that before.

Any chance you could get debugging symbols in your log?  And no, fixmes are not
errors, so don't open a bug for that.

If you save the logs with a .txt name, I won't have to keep changing the mime

Lightworks.exe  crash log, with +quartz,+xrender STARTUP RUNS THROUGH,
MINIMIZE/ENTERING PROJECT NAME PRESSED: GUI FREEZES;

yes, seems to be fixed. starts up. Thanks very much.
now it hangs at xrender; I am using pure vesa in virtualbox ubuntu 10.10x64, so
I might have to try this on real hardware to get further, and file a new
bugreport.

Fixed by commit a273ce077e6eaee3313a36bfb22a89fdcbc073aa.  Please do open a new
bug if the freeze problem persists with real hardware.
