--- Comment #1 from Georges Roux georges.roux@gmail.com --- 4.16 Mouse ok in the garage, but not in game, can't move the pointer, (keyboard is ok).
4.15 and before Mouse ok everywhere.
I use winehq-staging from Debian Buster Radeon HD 6870, radeon driver
and with winecfg XP or Win7 it's the same.

Does the attached patch fix the issue?

--- Comment #4 from Andrey Gusev andrey.goosev@gmail.com --- No, it doesn't.

--- Comment #5 from rbernon@codeweavers.com --- I believe that with the https://source.winehq.org/patches/data/171660 patch series, the commit that changed this behavior becomes a bit redundant and we could revert it as well and assume it is safe to warp the pointer without trying to grab it first -which is causing the sluggishness.

--- Comment #6 from Andrey Gusev andrey.goosev@gmail.com --- Mouse behaviour in Watch Dogs is different. Pointer changes its position while clicking.

--- Comment #7 from Rémi Bernon rbernon@codeweavers.com --- I've been trying to reproduce the issue but I don't see clearly what it is.
In Alan Wake the mouse cursor feels a bit laggy, but it feels about the same with or without any of the patches attached here.
Hard Reset works fine so far -I'm assuming that it's what "mouse ok in the garage, but not in game" refers to. The framerate is a bit low sometimes in game, but that doesn't depend on the mouse and the patches don't change anything about it.
Maybe it's specific to a WM or desktop environment? I'm currently trying on GNOME with mutter.
