Mech Commander Gold fails to run properly. It used to have gold status, so
perhaps it is an easy fix. The program installs fine, and seems to run great at
the beginning. The intro movie seems to play ok, although the sound is funky.
Skipping the movie with [Esc] or waiting for it to end causes it to error and
ultimately exit.

If updating wine does not work try updating your intel drivers and mesa to the
latest available because the crash seems to be inside the graphics driver.

if it's in gpu driver then this is invalid/upstream bug. no response from the
OP, so this could be closed as well. He is using too old wine.
