Microsoft-generated Error Report

Attempting to install Visual Studio 2010 Pro, the installation fails when
installing .NET Framework 4.0

Isolating that component to run the .NET setup separately, I get the attached
log and crash (With Microsoft Error Reporting dialog asking me to send an error
report).

@Dmitry Timoshkov: Sorry, I assumed "wide range of applications" included .NET
Framework as it is required by many other .NET-based other programs.
