Is there a way to install UP 3 on linux using wine. I got this message when I
was trying to install it...

What Wine version? If it's not at least wine-1.4 - upgrade.

Installer runs fine here with wine-1.5.1 (though since I don't have IL-2,
I can't really be sure).
