Attempting to load a savegame with Mass Effect 2 leads in average half the time to this crash :
err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7e4fd240 "wined3d_main.c: wined3d_cs" wait timed out in thread 0009, blocked by 0030, retrying (60 sec)
Marked ntdll as the culprit, and attached the log.

When I upgraded to a quad core cpu, this problem still persisted with the latest version of wine, but when using wine1.2-rc1, and maybe a few versions up, I'm not sure, the problem seemed to go away. I've gone a fair way into the game with the following setup. AMD 955 quad core cpu, NVIDIA 260 gtx video card, wine1.2-rc1 with xi2 mouse hack compiled from source. No crashes while using this version of wine, but when I go up to wine 1.3.4, it does seem to crash in this manner.
