[Bug 6058] Counter-Strike 1.6 freezes before loggin onto a server

I'm not sure if this is the same bug, but when CS gets to "Precaching
Resources", the loading bar stops moving about two or three segments before
finishing, and CS freezes.  This doesn't happen with any other steam game.
