Wine Output for OleLoadPictureEx

The Main Window of our Software under Windows shows a Picture. If we use the
builtin-Version of ole32 the Picture is not displayed. It seems that
"OleLoadPictureEx" ist not fully implemented.

We have created a testcase. This is a downloadable VMWareVirtualMachine
(openSUSE11, wine 1.1.1, 512MB RAM, ~3,3GB). The Session is created with VMWare
Server 1.0.5. You can use the Session with any VMWare Products like VMWare
Player or VMWare Server (http://www.vmware.com/download).

Please follow the instructions on the Desktop "Information.doc". The
VirtualMachine is downloadable here:

in the same way that your software does, to demonstrate the problem.

sorry, this is not possible. The application is written in Micro Focus
NetExpress and you will need special license databases, application server
runtime system and some configurations for client-server binding. This is all
build in the VMWare Session.

This bug was linked to the Star Wars Battle of Endor freeware game. I just
tested that game with 1.1.40 and get the errors below as the game crashes on
start up.

Cosmetic issue "On this day" otd.exe does not display the background (jpg)
pictures from the "C:\Program Files\On This Day\Backs" directory.

This bug has not been updated for two years and OP by four. Is this still an
issue i current (1.5.4) or newer wine ? You may also close this as abandoned if
you feel that that this is issue is no longer relevant to you.

on Wine 1.5.15 on Mac OS X 10.8.2 when running eSword 10.0.5.

Is there anything I can do to provide more information, a reduced test case, or

Hello folks,

the VB6 runtime causes these messages to be emitted during error handling.
They are benign and not reason of VB6 applications misbehaving -> can be safely
ignored.

I tested some applications mentioned here with Wine 1.7.9 and found no one had
serious problems.

Please provide an application/test case that _clearly_ demonstrates a problem
with OleLoadPictureEx otherwise close the bug.

A small real world example seems to be Bug 42273

A VB6 app with source Code. Apparently loading the Icons or scaling them goes
wrong. Seems all related to oleloadpicture /olepicture Features.
