Included with Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 is AdobeUpdateManager.exe. Running it in
console dies rapidly:

$ wine AdobeUpdateManager.exe

This is the same wine error I experienced when testing bug 9519. Might be
related.

I've applied the PreloaderPageZeroProblem workaround, but the
AdobeUpdateManager.exe include with Reader 7 still does not appear to work.

Perhaps re-open this bug?
