2. install virtualbox

3. start virtualbox.

$ wine VirtualBox.exe

Virtualbox fail to start, popup an error dialog said "failed to create COM object" and "Unknown Status 0xE06D7363 (0xE06D7363)"

Thanks for the information. I don't have strong reason to test such old version. My old virtualbox installer is lost, and I'm not going to retest such an old version in near future, if no one else interesting in this bug, i'll abandon this bug later.

I guess we can resolve this FIXED.

Adding stable download that matches the info from the original report.
