--- Comment #2 from Jeff Zaroyko jeffz@jeffz.name 2010-01-25 22:10:31 --- are you using the latest version of gcc needed to compile Wine with support for the hooking that xfire does?

--- Comment #4 from Grant Coleman Grant@Opped.net 2010-05-09 16:12:17 --- Unable to reproduce. After intsalling and running with wine 1.1.44, after login it automatically downloads and applies an update.
I did notice that trying to click anything would result in the application hanging and xfire turning in to a defunct process in ps. When entering username, tabbing to next field, entering password, then pressing enter to login, everything worked fine.
Additional problems persist after update (such as freezing shortly after trying to open a chat window with a friend) but that might be outside the scope of this bug given the forced update upon successful login.

--- Comment #5 from Justin Soulia rockinup1231@gmail.com 2011-11-12 21:38:07 CST --- Running wine-1.3.31 (haven't had the opportunity to install 1.3.32 yet), I do not encounter any problems trying to log in.
Apart from the contact list drawing issues (not sure if another bug is submitted for that yet) xfire seems to work fine.

Running wine-1.3.31 (haven't had the opportunity to install 1.3.32 yet), I do not encounter any problems trying to log in.
Still works in wine 1.5.10. Assuming fixed, if anyone is still able to reproduce feel free to reopen.
