While testing bug 7592 with today's Git (wine-1.1.11-49-g028617b), I noticed that the installer crashes immediately after extraction, which did not occur in 0.9.53. Regression testing showed that the bad commit was:

While an automatic revert was not possible on HEAD, Wine built from the commit prior to it showed no problems.

Ubuntu karmic 9.10, Wine 1.1.36 official deb from the ppa.
If I launch ica16.exe from a terminal, it crashes after extraction.
If I launch it directcly inside nautilus (file-association with exe is automatic when installing wine i think) with a double click on the ica16.exe file. No crash and all the installation can be done.
If someone have ubuntu, just try and explain in a better way if others people still don't understand.
