Hi Dan, i tried version Premiere 2.0 , and it looks as if the app is already happy with a very simple stub implementation. Unfortunetaly it exits then after the splash screen. If i run with +relay, it gets funnily enough further, into the main window, i can select "New Project" , but then a messagebox comes up with an error. I don't think these bugs are due to the unimplemented SHGetFolderpathandsubdir though

Yes, this crash is fixed. It now gets some further, but after creating a new project ( and using native gdiplus, otherwise you run into a different bug) it fails to start, as it says " Adobe Premiere encountered a derious problem, and needs to be closed". Using native comctl32 it starts fine , but the windows are overdrawn with black (ddraw-bug?), so the app is quite unusable
