I have tried the tool “SysInspector 1.4.2.0” out together with the software “Wine 7.7-1449.4”.

When reporting bugs please make sure to run with clean wineprefix so nothing irrelevant interferes with tracing and your application. Also please attach full output as a text file next time, not just fragments on it.

Event logger function is a first candidate to stop it crashing.

I find the log excerpt sufficient for the desired clarification of some open issues.

Attached patch with stub for EvtCreateRenderContext, and also some quick hack with bogus values for the next crash because of some missing props in wbemprox

There`s btw more bugs, seemingly to come from ntoskrnl.exe

With the attached patch I was able to start the program, though I had to disable ntoskrnl.exe (wich is not a good thing of course)

I`ll send patch for wevtapi stub and wbemprox later.

With only the wevati stub it crashes like one can see below.

BTW: I've seen several program like this that provide systeminfo, but I really like this one, because of it`s simplicity and clear interface.

When I tried today got yet another crash coming from netapi32, didn`t see that yesterday, strange...

By disabling netapi32, or applying stupid hack from attachment this can be worked around.

Anyway, seems to be yet more bugs then.

I`ve send patch for 1st bug, and will send for 2nd (wbemprox) to wine-devel

patch for 1st bug fell off the list without comment, so i won`t bother to look at this anymore. Btw, status like "Patch not even looked at yet, there's still hope..." is not encouraging, not to say chasing people away.
