Here is one little bug in http://commfort.com/ (CommFort is a client-server program designed for communication over a home or corporate network.)
client can received images in chat.
If client-chat connected to server over Internet in 99.999999% time posting image just dropped. And client stop working on some time. it's bug really really looong time ago! And testet on toooo many wine versions!
Try it! In Win* OS all functions worked perfectly. Because this is proprietary software we can nothing. But u can! Please!

I have tested locally with 1 server and 2 applications (both running in wine in the same computer - different prefix) and they are able to talk to each other. There is a redrawing issue related to private messages but that is another problem.

Client program can receive images.
But in most of cases when you try to send image client program just freezes or stop working correctly.
This bug is known for a long time and we can't get rid of it.
Yes you can connect to Ukrainian commfort server for tests. addr: commfort.yaroslav.ua-biz.info without port, only address in settings. Now, i have tested on old GNU\linux "BackTrack4.r2". I installed latest beta build: wine --version wine-1.6-rc3 and start chat-client.

At the past i am using wine from 1.0.2 to 1.4.1 I think in any version, you can repeat it I think what you need 1.4.1

Please retest in 1.6-rc3, 1.4.1 is incredibly old.

Early to rejoice. After restarting the chat bug appeared again!!! And began flip jpg images horizontally.

here is a picture (http://oi39.tinypic.com/fx7bth.jpg), it is possible to see how, after posting a second time chat with a picture it needs to wait.
I also noticed the fall (disconnect from the server) after a while, if the picture message has been sent.
I think that he was somehow lost packets. or something like that. I've used on my local network, the chat, then it was almost smooth. on older versions of Vine bug with flipping noticed.
but through the Internet, where the chat is most often used is shown this uncomfortable bug.
