1. Download splayer
http://file.splayer.org/avant/SPlayerSetupInt.exe?2124

2. intall cscript.exe with winetricks
$ winetricks wsh57

3. install splayer with all default settings.
$ wine SetupInt.exe

4. start splayer:
$ wine splayer.exe

5. open a mp3 file with splayer,
splayer will auto quit with such messages:

set WINEDEBUG=warn+heap doesn't generate any heap message from console, but the
dump file is different :

I was able to get it into deadlock.

Can you provide working download for same program version? The mp3 link works,
but the main program...

I would say this is fixed. Fresh wineprefix, wine 2.1.

Tried the mp3 linked here earlier.

But I had odd focus issues. 1st mouse went invisble when I tried to use the
program, solved this by reruning the program. Then when I opened the mp3 file,
mouse pointer drawgged the program not releasing the interface.

Really odd. I don't bother opening bugs against these, could be kde issue also
I don't use this software regularly.

The program will not quit but will not play the mp3 file too, it plays AVI
files upside down too. The mouse grabbing bug is very annoying as alt+tab won't
release it. So, IMO this is still present for Wine 2.1.
