As per title, Darkula no longer runs with 4.12.1. Just get a white screen. Works fine with 4.0.1 and 4.11. Can't see any obvious changes between output. Sorry, can't run regression test. This is with AMD.

I've made a bisect, the commit is:

Reverting the commit fixes the issue. I am attaching +d3d11,+d3d logs.

All Unigine benchmarks had just a black screen, aswell as the battle.net client was just a black box before this patch with wine-staging-4.12.1.

refining the summary as this affects a wide range of games/engines, also to reduce dupes.

World of Warships (wargaming.net) is also affected, showing a black screen on startup. The patch helps the game as well.
