Something changed in wine from 1.5.3 to 1.5.4 that results in really bad rendering artifacts when playing Anarchy Online.
Basically there are huge stray "facets" across the screen that are filled in with random texture from the play field. I attempted to take a screenshot of the problem, but the facets flicker in and out.
The problem can be seen quite readily in the Borealis city play field, where huge triangles of "sidewalk" texture appear and disappear across the middle of the streets.
Reverting to 1.5.3 makes the problem go away.

Problem still exists in 1.5.10.
Attached a screenshot of the location most reliably to reproduce the problem. Those big trapezoidal dark and light grey streaks across the ground are not supposed to be there and they flicker in and out as you run around

Actually, it's plainly visible right at the very beginning of the game. Create an account. Create a new character. Enter the game. You will see lots of flickering facets where the ground should be.
This doesn't happen in version 1.5.3 or earlier.

It looks fine here, but that might just mean it's specific to something in your setup, like OS X or your specific graphics card. Can anyone reproduce this on Linux?
