--- Comment #24 from Rosanne DiMesio dimesio@earthlink.net --- (In reply to Dmitry Timoshkov from comment #23)
Please keep this bug open, just consider this as a report about another Wine insufficiency leading to an application crash.
I'm not convinced it's a Wine insufficiency. Pagemaker in its day was professional software, with features meant for commercial printing presses. It includes postscript printer drivers from Adobe because the Windows drivers (even the ones from printer manufacturers) were inadequate. Those drivers can't be installed in Wine, but even if they could, there are no Adobe drivers for Pagemaker for any printer created in this millenium. That caused problems in Windows XP and later, too. Adobe's response was to tell people to upgrade to InDesign.
Following the logic about old applications probably half of Wine bug reports could be closed as abandoned for wide range of applications including old versions of Microsoft Office for example.
Don't worry, I'm not going to run through bugzilla closing bugs just because the app is old. But it's up to people who really want a bug kept open to keep it updated. The backtrace I attached yesterday should be enough to keep this zombie shuffling along for at least a couple years; after that, someone else will need to take up the gauntlet.
