No problem, could you open bugs for all of the issues you encountered? I definitely experienced the freezing problem before fixing this issue, I am unaware of a version of Wine where this previously worked. If you could put that into the bug report then I'll look into it.

The GUI freezes and the GUI window where it list your system details is still empty.

That is a separate issue, it seems to occur randomly about 50-70% of the time. It might be a regression, but it's definitely a separate bug.
