A Civilization I for Windows (16-bit) displays a number of bugs:

1. Some splash screens display no content.
2. In some dialogues (such as city-dialogue) there are some
tranparent/non-rendered areas
3. Keyboard commands do not work in game.

Static splash screens in the game do not display content. In some
splash-screen-like menues icons also not displayed until selected by mouse or
keyboard.

No output in the terminal when the bug appears. The terminal output contains
only sound-related issues (although the sound works well).

This should be marked nornal because not only splashscreens displayed
incorrectly, but also informative windows such as graphs, diagramms etc which
makes the gameplay very difficult.

I open the exe, it makes about 0.2s of music and then segfaults:

% WINEPREFIX=~/new wine civ

Except, there is no segmentation fault. It just does not proceed and drops:

Retested in wine-1.7.22. The thumbnails still do not render until clicked, but
the information in the three boxes to the right are now rendered correctly. The
other bugs mentioned in the original report are still there as well.
