Summary: STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl install reports incorrect hard disk space Product: Wine Version: 1.3.1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: sunderphon@gmail.com
Upon beginning installation, the game installer checks for space on all partitions.
When the storage space screen loads, it shows all the partitions as having the same amount of space as the partition on which the Wine C: drive is kept.
This breaks installs for any system running an OS only linux install, with partitions for data.

--- Comment #4 from butraxz@gmail.com 2013-02-03 10:17:07 CST --- No update for two years and download is not available. Is this still an issue in 1.5.23 or higher ? Or should this be closed as abandoned ?

--- Comment #5 from Fernando Martins fernando@cmartins.nl 2013-03-20 09:24:13 CDT --- I can't reproduce the problem although not all drives are reported in STALKER, a common issue.
The drives I get listed in STALKER are C:, H: (/home), and Z: (/). The free space is correctly reported.
However, drive E: (/fun), a different disk partition, is not listed in STALKER.

--- Comment #6 from Adam Bolte abolte@systemsaviour.com --- Created attachment 47329 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=47329 Installer screenshot, Wine 1.7.11
Seems to work as expected in my chroot. /dev/mapper/ettin-srv (where the root of my chroot resides) maps correctly to Z: (3.8G), and /dev/mapper/ettin-home (which contains my WINEPREFIX) maps correctly to C: (7.7G - the exact size might have changed slightly between the "df -h" command and the installer calculating the free space due to some multi-tasking I was doing, but it's close enough).
