Bug ID: 49427 Summary: Grim Dawn broken after upgrade to Wine 5.11 Product: Wine Version: 5.11 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: andysem@mail.ru Distribution: ---
Grim Dawn (GOG version, 1.1.7.1 or 1.1.6.2, x64 executable) hangs on startup, after switching to the fullscreen mode. The screen is black and no audio is played. The game doesn't react to mouse clicks or key presses (except Ctrl+C in the console).
This started happening after upgrading to Wine 5.11. The game works fine on Wine 5.10 on the same system. DXVK 1.7 in all cases.
Kubuntu 20.04 x86-64, Nvidia driver 440.66.15.

--- Comment #5 from Andy andysem@mail.ru --- It seems to have been fixed in master by commit 6ff0bb786c43ac3348dec6a977feb36af8bc4bcf.
Maybe it has something to do with that the x64 executable and dlls are in a subdirectory of the game directory, and the game directory contains the 32-bit executable and dlls bundled with the game. I'm running the 64-bit executable from the game directory (i.e. by executing "./x64/Grim Dawn.exe").
