Summary: ssl under linux does not work Product: WineHQ Apps Database Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: website-bugs AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: ki_pohl@yahoo.com
We are using meeting maker installation. Client is version 8.6.2 for windows. When using protocol TCP the server is discovered and sign in works properly. When using protocol ssl the server is discovered but when trying to sign in we get the following error message :
Could not sign in bc the server spl was not found.
We run into this problem under Ubuntu 7.10 32 bit (no firewall) and Fedora Core 7 64 bit. The ubuntu machine was a dual boot machine. When running the same meeting maker client in Windows XP, both tcp and ssl worked.
In my understanding, the server discovery uses the udb port while the ssl connection uses the ssl port.

--- Comment #3 from Jumper ned_fed@tiscali.it 2008-05-14 14:29:17 --- The problem seems to be in the fourth line of the log, the one referring to SECUR32_initNTLMSP. Is there any dev who takes care of secur32 api?

--- Comment #8 from Scott Ritchie scott@open-vote.org 2009-07-16 04:28:00 --- In Ubuntu at least, this was a packaging issue on 64 bit systems a while back - there wasn't a 32 bit version of the SSL library. I assume Fedora had a similar issue and it got fixed similarly. Let me know if this is still a problem for you -- thank you for reporting!
