Bug ID: 45685 Summary: regression caused in running Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12.5 Product: Wine Version: 3.14 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: susancragin@earthlink.net Distribution: ---
Created attachment 62107 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=62107 terminal output with no winedebug running
Dragon NaturallySpeaking 12.5 installs well in wine 3.14 (Staging). It also goes through training. But then it crashes when I try to run it for the first time.

--- Comment #1 from Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org --- The content of attachment 62107 has been deleted for the following reason:
Contains private information

--- Comment #2 from Alexandre Julliard julliard@winehq.org --- I deleted the log since it seems you also included some private information by mistake from the terminal backlog. Could you please attach a new log with only the wine output?

--- Comment #3 from SusanCragin susancragin@earthlink.net --- Created attachment 62109 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=62109 winedebug with x11drv channel open only
I tried running winedebug with seh and relay but it seemed to loop and go on forever. The loopy part had lots of x11drv calls so I tried running just that.

With this attempt I used a clean wineprefix without mono and accepted the program's dotnet40 installation. The program stopped and returned to the terminal prompt with the following information: 008c:fixme:shell:URL_ParseUrl failed to parse L"System.IdentityModel" 008f:fixme:process:FlushProcessWriteBuffers : stub 008c:fixme:httpapi:HttpInitialize ({2,0}, 0x1, (nil)): stub! 008c:fixme:httpapi:HttpCreateServerSession ({2,0}, 0x40ff3c0, 0): stub! 008c:fixme:shell:URL_ParseUrl failed to parse L"System.Xaml" 0073:fixme:ntdll:EtwEventUnregister (deadbeef) stub. 0073:fixme:ntdll:EtwEventUnregister (deadbeef) stub. 0035:err:ole:CoReleaseMarshalData StdMarshal ReleaseMarshalData failed with error 0x8001011d

--- Comment #11 from SusanCragin susancragin@earthlink.net --- I ran an old install that used to work with wine4.0-rc6 (staging) and got the same result but slightly different error messages at the end.
