When I make more CPU time available for the game, the freezes are shorter. Same goes for using native dll's. I can tell that it's really freezing by looking at the planet in the background. It stops spinning when I move the mouse. Try giving QW less CPU time, you'll see that it really freezes. With a faster CPU, I guess you won't even notice it.
