In Windows version of Safari 3.1.2 installed on Kubuntu 8.04.1 I am browsing web, I middle-click on one of the links in bookmarks panel and then left-click on the newly opened tab. In that moment, Safari crashes with backtrace which I include in the attachment

I changed the homepage back to crashing "Top sites" and tried to figure out how to solve it. The solution was to make an empty .html file to your desktop. Then open it with Safari which should be found in the program list. When you do that, Safari ignores the homepage and doesn't crash at the beginning. Then you have time to change homepage.
Hopefully my explanation wasn't so bad. That should be worth trying...

I can't reproduce this, resolving 'fixed'.
You need 'winetricks -q corefonts' to work around bug 32342 though (bundled Webkit needs Arial and Times New Roman fonts).

$ du -sh SafariSetup312.exe 19M SafariSetup312.exe
$ wine --version wine-1.7.21-19-g8812193
