The program windows draws fine on startup, but pressing any button will "hide" all the buttons, also if the cube is turned with the mouse. When another window is moved over the program window the buttons are redrawn but the cube disapears.

Tested in wine-1.3.27-224-g32c36b7. The background redrawing is fixed but the main bug (z-order drawing) remains. The screenshot shows the initial screen on xp and wine. Note that there are several objects missing from the screen.

--- Comment #11 from hanska2@luukku.com --- It's too complicate to explain the behaviour, but it somehow works correctly and somehow it avoids drawing things.
Hard to say if there has been improvement or not.

--- Comment #12 from Teras teras@luukku.com --- I noticed that if you let the program go into taskbar and activate it again, it draws the missing arrowkeys.
Also the arrowkeys are there but they are just not visible whole time.
It's like this is missing refreshing of the drawn arrea.

--- Comment #16 from Dmitry Timoshkov dmitry@baikal.ru --- Everything in this application (menu and buttons) use WM_DRAWITEM for custom drawing of the controls. The buttons use "TBitBtn" class. It would make the investigation a bit easier if there would be a simple application with just one button of that style. Also, what is that misterious "z-order problem" mentioned in the bug description?

When you click any of the arrows to move the cube side all arrows will disappear giving the impression that they are under the cube. If you click on where the arrows are supposed to be they will work.

What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Component|-unknown |opengl
--- Comment #18 from Dmitry Timoshkov dmitry@baikal.ru --- The application draws the Cube in the center of main window using OpenGL and finishes the drawing with call to gdi32.SwapBuffers(). An argument to SwapBuffers() is a display hdc created with GetDC(0).
I'm not sure how clipping in such a case is supposed to work, the application does GetClientRect() on its main window and calls glViewport() with that data.
A simple hack that disables passing the gdi32.SwapBuffers() down to opengl32 makes the buttons properly repaint but obviously makes the Cube disappear.

--- Comment #19 from Dmitry Timoshkov dmitry@baikal.ru --- Menu repainting is a different (and not related) problem.

This bug looks like fixed with wine-4.0-rc2. Can anyone confirm?
Now the cube stays in front, moving another windows over it does not display the buttons anymore, but the buttons are still missing.
To my understanding this is not fixed.
