Looks like the info in the tabs is around 1 o 2 pixels lower than they should.

I can confirm that the tab-bar button is off by a few pixel like you see in the
picture. This is not in the native window version.

eMule 0.49c
wine 1.1.24 on gentoo amd64

Minor cosmetic thing, but probally affacting alot of applications.

I have a workaround for this problem.

Just copy the TAHOMA.TTF (and TAHOMABD.TTF) into the Windows/Fonts-Folder of
the wine-directory (~.wine\drive_c\windows\Fonts). Thats it.

I have tried winetricks tahoma, and also using the font directly from Windows
and doesn't work for me.

Screenshot on Windows XP

I have taken this new screenshot from Windows xp using the same skin as in Wine
and looks like in Windows the top margin in tabs is lower than in Wine for
around 1 or 2 px.

I can confirm the problem is still there as of wine-1.3.34-202-gb0f704d.
Installing corefonts indeed doesn't help, but native comctl32.dll is a valid
workaround.

easiest way to tell is to have the main info tab active. Look at the log icon.
If you can't see the bottom line of pixels, you're seeing the bug. Native
comctl32 works around it.

Confirmed still existing for wine 4.17.

However, it happens only in the server tab. Not with similar tabs. The
application in question is open source. In the emule source code 
(
hg clone http://hg.code.sf.net/p/emule/code emule-code
)
have a look at ServerWnd.cpp and the handcoded values.

Could you elaborate, which values are to blame in your opinion?
