The program seems to install despite popping up a window saying it cannot locate a file certutil.exe. Upon launching, the window displays in a recognisable form although most text is displayed as little boxes and none of the buttons do anything when clicked.

Also, as this seems to be a Japanese program, are you running it in the Japanese locale and are aware of those extra registry font entries some of cjk programs need (Fonts\Replacements) ?

--- Comment #2 from Scott shagooserver@gmail.com --- Googled WINEDEBUG=font and immediately realised I was out of my depth. I don't see a font channel nor do I know where the problem occurs in the program. This is for developers not end users. If you can tell me the commands I will do it.

I checked and the company that produces the program is HQed in Japan. I was/am unaware of the locale requirement or registry entries. I have no idea how to change my locale in wine or that it was even possible. I have never used a program where the country of origin of the program was ever an issue.

As a punt: "winetricks fakejapanese" allows the application to display correctly.

The program is now not able to import any files, an error message pops up suggesting the file type should be checked for compatibility. Ken, this is not changing the scope of the bug it's just updating it now that I can read the window contents. As with TSMuxer do you want to close this bug and have me open a new one reflecting the current state of affairs or do we wait until the above work around is incorporated in wine?
