I have Macbook Pro Early 2015 Retina model. I am running Wine 4.0 (XQuartZ 2.7.7).
When I try to run 'wine FortiClientSetup_5.2.6.0664_x64.exe' I get following error:

Please try with Wine 4.1 or later (preferably the latest, currently 4.6). The above issue was fixed after 4.0.

There is a free download of FortiClient 6.0 on the publisher website (Link added to the URL field).
My system is Linux Debian 8 64 bit. I tested with wine 4.6 in a new 64 bit wineprefix.
$ du -b FortiClientOnlineInstaller_6.0.exe 855360 FortiClientOnlineInstaller_6.0.exe
$ sha1sum FortiClientOnlineInstaller_6.0.exe aa5d08564446a1c2f1aa8e5ee1041e282a45ed99 FortiClientOnlineInstaller_6.0.exe
The installer fails with an error dialog 'setup ended prematurely'.
The log file indicates that the issue causes msi to fail. That error also appears in the reporter's log file.
