--- Comment #1 from Andrey Gusev andrey.goosev@gmail.com --- Possibly due to unsupported R32_TYPELESS format.

--- Comment #2 from Béla Gyebrószki gyebro69@gmail.com --- This must be an issue with the open source driver, because the game begins to load to the menu when using Nvidia 367.35, but crashes before the main menu should appear.

Actually no. I also tracking Sniper Elite V2 demo which uses the same game engine and after commit http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/commit/c7fdde8e83640c43746fd363c1ff63d... game crashes on an intro.

Don't know what conclusion to make on your comments, but Sniper elite 2 starts currently with wine. The main menu is half drawn (half screen black). Also you are able to start a game, but the graphics are somehow corrupted. Tried this some versions ago.

--- Comment #5 from Anthony Jagers noonetinone@gmail.com --- In SE V2 everything gets drawn. I turned the brightness up to the max. I could see the main menu correctly rendered. I started a game. The good news is the performance is great. The colors for most textures are dark. When using the binoculars in game the screen goes black. Interestingly, the on screen yellow compass marker gets rendered correctly. You almost have platinum game.
Thief 2016, which I just tested suffers from the same color determination problems. Thief looks the same to my eyes. The game did have poor performance however.
