Summary: TAGAP: mouse input doesn't work Product: Wine Version: 1.2-rc4 Platform: x86 URL: http://www.gamershell.com/download_20488.shtml OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: gyebro69@gmail.com
In the game TAGAP (The Apocalyptic Game About Penguins) mouse is completely unusable. When you move the mouse, the pointer always jumps back to the upper-right corner.
Changing the MouseWarpOverride registry entry to enable/disable/force doesn't help.

Does native dinput/dinput8 help?
No. I also tried native xinput1_3.dll, the fixmes disappeared but the mouse still unusable.

--- Comment #4 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2011-04-15 11:24:27 CDT --- Mouse is still unusable in the game with wine-1.3.17-320-g1372692. I observed certain changes in the behaviour of mouse (compared to previous Wine versions): the mouse pointer is invisible in the menus now: it becomes visible if I press a key on the keyboard but it disappears immediately if I move the mouse.

--- Comment #5 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2011-04-26 13:07:04 CDT --- Things have changed again in wine-1.3.18-233-gcff8753: the mouse pointer is completely stuck in the middle of the screen. Additionally, mouse buttons don't work any more in the current git version. In previous versions I was able to choose an option in the menu via keyboard and pressing the left mouse button activated the selected option. Now only keyboard works.
Terminal output has changed, too, now it's showing only a couple of lines: fixme:xinput:XInputEnable (1) Stub! fixme:xinput:XInputEnable (1) Stub! fixme:dsalsa:IDsDriverBufferImpl_SetVolumePan (0x147a88,0x147988): stub fixme:xinput:XInputGetState (0 0x11175d8) fixme:xinput:XInputEnable (0) Stub! fixme:xinput:XInputEnable (0) Stub!
Note, the fixme:dinput:SysMouseWImpl_Acquire Clipping cursor to (0,0)-(800,600) line has disappeared.
