Hitman Blood Money stuck on startup with the Program Error box showing but not accepting input. i need to kill it manually.
attached is a +wgl dump
the main error seems to be: fixme:d3d:debug_fbostatus Unrecognied FBO status 0x00000000 fixme:d3d:context_check_fbo_status FBO status unrecognized (0) wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000008 at address 0x7eafd2cb (thread 0009)
also i don't understand why trace:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo Direct rendering enabled: False but glxinfo | grep direct direct rendering: Yes
running on Intel GM45 hardware with KMS enabled

--- Comment #2 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2009-07-31 07:29:43 --- Wine can not crash Xorg, it is probably a problem with your graphics drivers. You should report that to your distro.
"also i don't understand why trace:wgl:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo Direct rendering enabled: False but glxinfo | grep direct direct rendering: Yes"
Is probably a separate problem.
Try not to report multiple problems in one bug report.
So, Hitman Blood Money page faults when OffscreenRenderingMode=fbo

--- Comment #3 from Predatory QQmber virtuousfox@gmail.com 2009-07-31 08:06:28 --- i really don't think that all this have something to do with wine.
intel driver in a middle of rewrite, dri->dri2\gallium transition in progress and you haven't posted 'glxinfo|grep renderer -A1'-output so it would be clear if you using classic 3d stack or gallium3d-one, opengl 1.4 or 2.0. also, i'm not sure if it support fbo at all.

It's probably a problem in your 32-bit GL configuration. glxinfo will use the 64-bit libGL, Wine uses the 32-bit one. It's possible Mesa doesn't support FBOs with indirect rendering, but it shouldn't report the extension as available in that case.
Either way, you should probably figure out why direct rendering isn't working for 32-bit.

--- Comment #5 from Andreas Brauchli linux@elementarea.net 2009-08-02 13:19:20 --- here's the 64bit glxinfo renderer
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset GEM 20090712 2009Q2 RC3 OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.5
i'll try to find/compile a 32bit glxinfo btw, distro is ubuntu 9.10 "karmic" (alpha 3)

--- Comment #7 from Andreas Brauchli linux@elementarea.net 2009-10-14 18:23:26 --- meanwhile the intel (KMS enabled) driver has matured, and X doesn't crash anymore. Also the distro Ubuntu 9.10 is soon to released, and the used wine version has been increased to 1.1.31. I've attached a new log with LIBGL_DRIVERS_PATH='/usr/lib64/dri:/usr/lib32/dri' env var set. Without the game crashes with following notices: fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x155ebe4,0x00000000), stub! err:d3d:state_undefined Undefined state. --- Comment #8 from Andreas Brauchli linux@elementarea.net 2009-10-14 18:39:30 --- #7 was with pbuffer, when using offscreenrenderingmode=fbo the GAME DOES seem to LOAD INTO THE MAIN MENU, i just have a black screen and sound. The WGL errlog prints tons (i aborted after 13Mb and restarted without debug) of
