[Bug 9721] New: Support for HKEY_DYN_DATA\Config Manager\Enum registry tree

Please populate the HKEY_DYN_DATA\Config Manager\Enum registry tree. This is
needed by some games to detect the hardware on the running system.

For example, EA's Need for Speed III includes a 3dsetup.exe program that
queries HKEY_DYN_DATA\Config Manager\Enum*\HardWareKey to detect graphics
hardware.

HKEY_DYN_DATA is a Win9x specific key which doesn't exist under NT based
systems. How that apps are supposed to gather required information under NT?

I'm not sure about NT-based systems. The example I used, NFS3, only works on
Win9x systems (it refuses to install on NT-based ones).

It seems to me that if WINE is configured as Win9x, it should support
HKEY_DYN_DATA.

If we are talking about NFS3's 3dsetup.exe i don't think HKEY_DYN_DATA is the
problem. See bug #7115 - 3dsetup.exe works for NTs, but does not work for
Win9x.
