Using Arch as base system, wine-6.3.

Tried two wine versions, wine-valve (wine-valve 5.13-4) and wine-6.3.
Wine 6.3 crashes the installer directly after choosing the language. These are the logs after I click on OK after choosing the language:

With Valve's wine/proton it gets a bit further but ends up getting stuck at the end. I will link this bug to Valve's bug report.

I got: 0104:err:msi:iterate_load_verb Verb unable to find loaded extension L"NewExtension1" 05e8:err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 6852A0E0 "../wine/dlls/combase/combase.c: registered_classes_cs" wait timed out in thread 05e8, blocked by 02cc, retrying (60 sec)

Note: Nevertheless the files seem to be installed; There are subsequent bugs for the program itsself, had to use native msxml3 and mshtml/urlmon and then the program seems to work, at least I could draw a cube...

Same for me. I also tried to uninstall after that and I get the same error at the beginning.

--- Comment #5 from Javier Domingo Cansino javierdo1@gmail.com --- Sorry for the previous message, I edited the title to reflect your findings. I was able to pass the initial extraction after recreating the prefix, although I had recreated it before several times.
Regarding the fixes you speak about, I wasn't able to make it work with them. I added msxml3, mshtml, and urlmon as (native, builtin) but crashed. I have created https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50782 to follow up on the application, not the installer.
Also, I'm linking to a bug that was reporting this before.
