I have a windows application installed via wine on gnome.
Almost everything works correctly except 1 window. Usually on this window you
can souble click a cell and edit it.
Under wine in linux, it will not acceot the double click - is this a bug or a
missing DLL somewhere?

What Wine version are you using? Please provide instructions for reproducing
the issue and attach debug output as per http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log to
the bug report.

The application can be downloaded as follows:

Once the application is installed and Windows dlls and fonts copied over, then
start the application and it will ask you to create a demo account
automatically.

Once the account is created and logged in, press F3. This brings up a global
variables window. Create an variable in there and click out of it. To edit the
variable in Windows you usually double click on the cell and edit it, this does
not work for the middle and last columns, only the first column.

What repo is that in?
The documentation page only lists the following:

The system says that a later than flex 2.5.4 is needed, which I don't think
exists?

Please stop changing the version field.  You said in comment 3 you used Wine
1.0.1 so leave it at that.

It does exist, configure explicitly lists the minimum version and the most
recent flex version is 2.5.35.  If your distro doesn't provide it then report a
bug with them if it is still supported.

Note, there is no need to build wine as root.  If you are also running Wine as
root, you should create a regular user account and use that instead.

Hi
I wasn't explicitly changing the verison field, it defaults to unspecified in
the webpage. I have changed it back and will try the updates.

Resolved although wine system now seems more sluggish than before but the
previous version bug listed is fixed in 1.2

Thanks for the follow up.  For the sluggish performance, you can try doing a
regression test and file a separate bug report.
