Hi,

with fresh wine-1.5.4, on my Ubuntu x86_64, with Wine Mono 0.0.2, my MS Office
2010 installation crashed, see the log.

The MS Office 2010 package shows to be installed, but launching of Word,
Excel.. failed.

The problem with this bugzilla is that is does not accepts log files over

This is another duplicate of bug 18070 and the second one reported by you.
Please stop doing that and either wait for that bug to be fixed or work

should be OK, as "." is part of my prompt. I believe the crashed MS Office 2010
installation was in proper 32-bit mode, or not ?

I am trying to report bugs honestly, but as a newbie fun of Wine I sometimes I
do mistakes....

The output of this command should tell you:

$ head -5 ~/.wine/system.reg

Please refer to other forums for help with running wine.

I was working with 32-bit installation of MS Office on x86_64 Ubuntu 12.04

I made 32-bit prefix:
WINEARCH=win32 winecfg

checked it:

If you see a warning like this:

002f:err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated.
 Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it
 in the winbind package of your distribution.

try following that advice.

With  the default 'Windows XP' in 32-bit winecfg I successfully installed the
MS Office 2010 Professional Plus  !

However, I encounter that registration of the product is failing.

Doing further tests.
